The Ugly Sqounkling

A retelling of a classic children’s story the Ugly Duckling with a folklore twist. A squonk is a fictional creature known as a cryptid, similar to other popular creatures like the Mothman or the Jackalope. The Squonk is Pennsylvania's cryptid; the creature hides in the forest and is rarely seen because it feels ashamed of its ugliness. This reimagination follows the same story of the classic tale but is told with a cryptid twist.
